Can someone explain to me how Tournament Rep points work? Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:07 AM PDT I'm still pretty new. I've noticed that I have some tournament rep points, but not as many as I'd think given the number of tournaments that I have won. I have looked online but am still a little confused. (1) How/when are tournaments worth rep points and when are they not? (2) What are they useful for? I realize they are connected to a leaderboard, but is that it? (3) Are these in any way related to qualifying for larger pokemon tournaments? Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 29 Jun 2021 03:19 AM PDT So I remember reading somewhere when I started that after I reach level 15 I can obtain tradable packs (daily rewards if I remeber correctly). Has this changed or it never was a thing? [link] [comments] |
So.... I'm that guy. The one that takes a Durant mill deck to standard. Deck list in comments. Posted: 29 Jun 2021 06:07 AM PDT Does it win a lot? Absolutely not lol But when it does.... You can't help but to feel their pain. The strategy is to hide behind a Snorlax/Muk with a Cherubi/Cherrim on the bench and just collect cards into the hand. Don't set your Durants until after your opponent has played through over half their deck. If you reveal the Durant strategy too early they'll catch on and adjust how they discard/draw. It sets up slow, but once you get rolling you feel like a big brain genius by constantly bringing Durant's back from the discard and onto the field. Here's my deck list that I think is close to finished, but could maybe use some final touches: ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Pokémon - 16

I want to take advantage of Weavile from CRE so I made a deck. Posted: 28 Jun 2021 11:02 AM PDT Given Weavile's attack, Two Hit KO, knocks out the opponent during your next turn no matter how much damage is dealt, I wanted to make a deck that took advantage of that. I listed the deck list below. I've used it twice and won both times but before I could use the strategy. I think my opponents saw what I was trying to do and conceded. The point is to use 2 Hit KO and switch out to Zeroara V, Metagross V, or Passimian given the conditions at the time. Galar Mine and Tool Jammer help to keep opponents from retreating using energies or tools like Air Balloon. Tower of Water or the various switch cards I have help get Weavile out and the next Mon into the active spot. I tested Zeroara V's attack and it's ability works after using 2 Hit KO. Galar Mine can also help Metagross VMax take advantage of its Max Rush Attack. I'm looking for any feedback or any flaws I may have overlooked. It's a very new deck and I don't have another Zeroara to add so I'm making what I can with what I got. Feel free to try it out or leave feedback. Rapid Strike Nexus Pokémon (19) Sneasel x4 Weavile x4 Remoraid x2 Octillery x2 Passimian x2 Zeroara V x1 Metagross V x1 Metagross VMax x1 Dedenne GX x1 Crobat V x1 Trainer (30) Escape Rope x2 Fan of Waves x2 Pokémon Communication x3 Quick Ball x3 Switch x2 Galar Mine x3 Tower of Waters x3 Bird Keeper x1 Boss's Orders x2 Caitlin x1 Korrina's Focus x2 Pokémon Breeder's Nurturing x1 Professor's Reasearch x1 Scroll of the Skies x2 Tool Jammer x2 Energy (11) Rapid Strike x4 Spiral x3 Capture x2 Speed x2 [link] [comments] |
Posted: 28 Jun 2021 03:00 PM PDT It's not doing too bad in standard but it kinda struggles with consistency especially against fast decks like zacian and ADP so i was wondering if there's anything i can change to make it better Here's the deck list: ##Pokémon - 16 * 1 Oranguru SSH 148 * 1 Gallade CRE 81 * 1 Mew UNB 76 * 2 Necrozma V BST 149 * 3 Ralts CRE 59 * 4 Kirlia CRE 60 * 4 Gardevoir CRE 61 ##Trainer Cards - 32 * 1 Escape Rope BST 125 * 3 Boss's Orders SHF 58 * 4 Marnie SSH 169 * 2 Pokémon Communication TEU 152 * 3 Evolution Incense SSH 163 * 1 Energy Recycler BST 124 * 3 Professor's Research SSH 178 * 1 Reset Stamp UNM 206 * 2 Rare Candy SSH 180 * 2 Guzma & Hala CEC 193 * 4 Fog Crystal CRE 140 * 3 Path to the Peak CRE 148 * 3 Switch SSH 183 ##Energy - 12 * 10 Psychic Energy SWSHEnergy 5 * 2 Horror Psychic Energy RCL 172 Total Cards - 60 ****** Deck List Generated by the Pokémon TCG Online www.pokemon.com/TCGO ************ Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** Thanks in advance and have a nice day :) [link] [comments] |
Psychic Pokemon that deals damage to opponent's benched Pokemon (ideally multiple Pokemon)? Posted: 28 Jun 2021 12:39 PM PDT Hello! I was wondering if such a Pokemon exists- I wanted to have a main Psychic attacker that deals damage to more than one benched Pokemon, was hoping for something like the amazing rare Kyogre that deals 80 damage to all opposing Pokemon. I'd love to take suggestions for ones that deal damage to just one bench Pokemon as well! I really don't know where to look [link] [comments] |
New player need help to counter "charizard deck" Posted: 28 Jun 2021 06:22 PM PDT Am a one week old player, i used to play with physical cards many many years ago. Restarting fresh. So am a noob a wasted my "newbie coins" on doing trades to get them shiny boss's orders and marnie cards. I opened about 200 packs so i got some random cards, i can buy a few more card codes to trade for stuff am missing. I brought both the "Victini + gradevoir V battle" deck and upgraded it with extra v copies+vmax, got a crobat and dedene V too. But both of these decks are super inconsistent until i can do some more upgrades. I lose to charizard decks too much, the other newbies who brought and upgrade their Charizard is outpaceing me. What should i make (for cheapish) to does nothing but counter the Chaizard deck? edit: i got like 70 coins so it will take me a while to save up to buy a "theme deck for 500 coins" [link] [comments] |
