    Hey guys! I want to know your opinion on this, what do you think if Pokémon TCGO added an option where you can spectate tournaments in game? I think it could be fun.

    I am giving away a few hundred codes because I cant think of a better way to get rid of them.

    (some used cards have been added to the stack to throw off counters)

    The winning number is between 100 and 700.

    Who ever can get closest to the real number, without going over ; wins the bulk of the codes! There is 3x 3pk codes set aside for second place and 1x 3pk code for third place.

    If there is a tie I will split the pool between the winners.

    Additional rules;

    • Top level comments only, one guess per user.

    • Account must be older than 3 days.

    • Deadline for entries is 9PM Pacific time, 6 hours from the time of this post.

    I will edit the post with the winning number and winner after the deadline.

    The codes will be delivered via PM or spreadsheet.

    Best format to grind for rewards, and what about the leaderboard?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm fairly new to Pokemon TCGO, and I have a bunch of questions regarding grinding for rewards and how does the official leaderboard works (I mean this -> https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-tcg/play-online/leaderboards/themedeck/)

    First, is their any reason regarding grinding tradeable boosters to play anything else than Theme Decks? You're paying 8 tickets for earning roughly twice the rewards of 4 Tickets Theme tournaments. And I say roughly, because if you end up first, you'll only get 3 "most recent" packs while you get 2 in Theme. So Theme looks slightly more efficient than Standards in term of value per ticket.

    EDIT: Because even though you get 6 packs in Standard VS 3 Packs in Theme, you're still at a loss since more recent packs are more valuable than older ones.

    As long as I'm on "budget standard decks" I'm not even considering 8 Tickets tournament, but idk if it becomes easier to win those events with a solid Standard deck, and therefore, more profitable than theme.

    The issue is that I'm trying to build a standard deck, but I have no idea what I'm going to do in game with it, since their doesn't seem to be anything more to do with Standards than Themes, which is a bit weird and imo unfortunate.

    Second question about the leaderboard. Is the Tournament leaderboard the closest thing the game has to a ranked system, or does it just reward players for playing more games (like the Versus Leaderboard, which only tells who farmed the most in the game...)

    I hope those questions make sense and that some of you will be able to provide some answers. I'm really puzzled by the lack of incentive to play anything but Theme Decks in the game to be fair. I'm afraid I'll finally be able to build a Standard deck I like and not find any good reason to play it over good old (and repetitive) theme deck to progress in the game.

    I was playing the game and got muted (pretty sure because I mentioned discord)

    It was I think 2-3 days ago and I have not yet received an e-mail from them

    whenever anyone says 'hello' it feels bad I can't reply in match

    I used cross fist here (before he Bossed in Octillery) but I wasn’t given an option to his his bench. There’s no Mew or other bench protection on his bench

    Seemingly broken *Randomizer* What is happening?

    Just riled up and fuming a bit from whatever coding is supposed to randomize your starting hand and (somewhat) opponent. I go from playing a few rounds with a fire deck , draw my only Crobat v and Dedenne gx in starting hands multiple times in a row and end up against water decks with no way to pull heavy hitters even though my deck is littered with quick balls, professor hand discard, etc. You get the point.

    So, I decide to try playing with a Decidueye deck - only pulling Dedenne gx in starting hand....3x IN A ROW. Two of my matches were against fire decks.

    So, I switch to my SS Urshifu deck. Oh, imagine that I'm immediately pit up against a Shadow Rider Calyrex!?

    I cannot be alone in this, and it makes the game insanely frustrating at times

    Need an expanded deck
