| Expected value of Sun and Moon packs rotating out next month? Posted: 03 Aug 2021 07:57 AM PDT I started flipping this past week with a collection of a couple dozen UNB and TEU packs that I had stockpiled from 2 years ago when I briefly played. My intention was to convert them all to Sword and Shield sets, while increasing overall value, and diversifying my assets to trade with. However, I'm beginning to reconsider this as UNB and TEU have excellent value still, and regularly secure trades that no other sets except CRE and SSH can accomplish in single pack trades. My question is whether it's expected that UNB and TEU, and other currently standard Sun and Moon packs, will lose substantial value once rotation hits, or if they may still be valuable for trading because of the quality cards available in them for expanded play. Obviously, no one can know for certain, but those who've played the game long enough, understand the trading market, and have observed the fluctuations in prices after rotation, may have some insight on what to expect. Posted: 02 Aug 2021 12:35 PM PDT The last 4 people I've played have done this thing where they will knock out my pokemon and instead of immediately grabbing their prize cards they'll just sit there for a bit. Idk if it's a glitch or if it's something that is meant to intimidate the opponent, but it's mad annoying. [link] [comments] |

| Really interesting move for Darkbox Eternatus Posted: 02 Aug 2021 05:15 PM PDT Just went up against a deck that had 2 darkri GX's with restoration , weavile gx and a kecleon. they vmax'ed eternatus to have a bench of 8 with kecleon that had a dark energy on it, used restoration on the 2 darkri's, moved 2 energy off them, then off the kecleon, making it normal type, reducing the bench size, discarding the darkri's and repeating infinitely. really interesting tech iv never seen before, hope i explained it well. Posted: 03 Aug 2021 12:02 AM PDT Apologies if this gets asked a lot, but couldn't find many recent threads asking for deck suggestions. I haven't played since right before covid hit (was playing a vaporeon x energy engine deck in person) and am looking for some suggestions on where to start in building a new standard deck. I'm having fun playing Laser Focus online a lot and win pretty regularly just because I know it so well. Looking for something like that that I can commit to. My goal is just to find a fun deck that's consistent and could win sometimes, but I'm not trying to win big tournaments or anything. Tried looking for deck suggestions a few weeks ago, decided to try building zacian / lucario & melmetal and am almost done building it, but just saw someone on here say it's a stall deck and hard to use, and I'll be honest I'm probably not ready/wise enough for a stall deck right now lol. Also have no idea how to know if the next rotation will effect a deck I am interested in? Or what I should be looking at in light of the new rotation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! I have 50 Chilling Reign packs and 104 VV ones. Should I buy something big so I don't lose value once the new packs come out? Got bored and thought to myself, hey! Let's go check out pokemon card online! It's been a few years, I wonder that's like now! After several days of marathon play and falling in love with the game all over again I just bought the Zacian theme deck from the online store for 500 coins! I thought, why not? I got no steel type pokemon, this sword dog looks rad, take my coins! Yeah, deck is rad. So rad I want to buy a physical copy! ...but then I remembered the physical deck comes with a code for the digital deck! DARN, MONEY WILL BE WASTED! I don't need a second copy of the deck in game lol. So what are my options if I go through with purchasing a Zacian theme deck? Is there a reliabe place to trade codes? or is there a way in game?
