Blastoise piplup might be one of the most underated card Posted: 18 Jul 2020 11:01 PM PDT Here me out. This card may seem ok on paper but what if I said it might be one of the most resilient cards in standard. The image above was just one blastoise piplup against three dragapult vmax continiously wailing on him. Notice the damage heal. So how did it tank so much damage? Blastoise is a tag team Pokémon that for two w and 1 colorless, you do 150 and can attach up to 3 water energy and it heals 50 for each energy which is a max of 150. Misty and lorei and capacious buckets lets you replenish your energy cards to keep on healing which makes it way consistent. But then sword and shield also gave you hyper potion and training court. Hyper potion lets you discard 2 energy and heal 120. Training court and energy retrieval lets you immediate get back 1 or 2 energy to heal an additional more. Throw in mallow and Lana and that's another 120. So basically it can full hp heal each turn while doing 150 or 250 and a paralyze gx. Throw in a big charm and it goes up to 300. If your opponent can't one shot a 300 hp Pokémon then it's really really tough to break through this big guys shell. Just a really cool cheap deck if anyone is looking something fun to play [link] [comments] |

Low-cost recommendations for my budget Malamar Fairy-KO farming deck? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 08:44 AM PDT ##Pokémon - 16 * 1 Xerneas-GX FLI 90 * 1 Jirachi TEU 99 * 1 Espeon & Deoxys-GX UNM 72 * 1 Gengar & Mimikyu-GX TEU 53 * 4 Inkay FLI 50 * 4 Necrozma UNM 101 * 4 Malamar FLI 51 ##Trainer Cards - 26 * 4 Spell Tag LOT 190 * 4 Mysterious Treasure FLI 113 * 2 Viridian Forest TEU 156 * 2 Pokémon Communication TEU 152 * 2 Pokégear 3.0 SSH 174 * 2 Switch CES 147 * 2 Roller Skater CEC 203 * 2 Pokémon Fan Club UPR 133 * 2 Mina LOT 183 * 4 Cynthia UPR 119 ##Energy - 18 * 4 Recycle Energy UNM 212 * 4 Fairy Energy SMEnergy 18 * 10 Psychic Energy SMEnergy 5 My thoughts: - Xerneas-GX was the only non-terrible fairy pokemon I had on hand. Trying to farm KOs with an all-fairy deck was totally miserable with what I cobbled together from existing cards. - I'm thinking of dropping the Pokégear in favor of more Psychic Energy, not sure though. Audio issues with PTCGO on computer Posted: 19 Jul 2020 05:04 AM PDT There's still no sound when playing PTCGO in PC, even after reinstalling. My phone can play it with sound though. Anyone experience the same problem? Any solution against this problem? [link] [comments] |

Anyone else notice this or is it just me? Posted: 18 Jul 2020 08:20 PM PDT Hey all, New here but been playing a year and a half. I use water Pokemon exclusively mostly from nostalgia from the games. With the exception of my setup assist Pokemon such as Jirachi and Munna. Anywho, the problem I have is gathering energy quickly. It seems like the other types all have cards and abilities that can get loads in energy in one or two turns with very little evolving. It's mostly basic Pokemon with abilities or EX/GX/TagTeam Pokemon. Not complaing, after all, I chose to use one type. I've beaten plenty of those quick energy building decks with some ingenuity. Water Pokemon that can gather energy quickly are either stage 3 Pokemon or Stage 2 and I have to use a combination of them. The only fast gathering one stage water Pokemon I can think of is TagTeam Blastoise/Piplup. Even with apps to help look through all existing cards, I don't see any trainer cards that allow you to attach multiple Water energies to your Pokemon in a turn from your hand, discard pile or deck. Nor do I see any basic/TagTeam Pokemon that do this either. Am I the only one seeing this? Does anyone else have problems with a type that they use? See card examples below Welder, Kiawe, Clemont, Ampheros EX, Boltund V, TagTeam Pikachu/Zekrom, TagTeam Gardevoir/Sylveon Some fast energy gathering Water Pokemon: Blastoise (Plasma Blast, Boundaries Crossed, TeamUp and TagTeam), Frosmoth and Quagsire As far as I know, there are no trainers that allow attaching multiple energy to water Pokemon or one energy to two or three Pokemon at a time in one turn. There's more but I can't think of any. Sorry for the long post. [link] [comments] |

How do I get back my tool tips hints? Posted: 19 Jul 2020 02:54 AM PDT I accidentally clicked do not show again for my tool tip asking if I would like to end my turn without attacking. Now, I often forget that i can attack and let a turn go to waste. How do I get my tool tips back? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 19 Jul 2020 01:51 AM PDT I want to build a good cheapish standard deck post rotation. 2 choices stand out to me....Zadp and Inteleon Omastar. For inteleon omastar i have nothing except for a 1/1 inteleon line...but i do have most of the trainers as I am an avid expanded player. For the zadp, i have 3 zacians 2 adp and 2 dedenne, but no boss's, as these are from my expanded deck. I probably will not be able to afford crobat. Which one will be cheaper, and which one will be more viable? I am very short of packs [link] [comments] |

Melmetal Deck Help (Need Assistance) Posted: 18 Jul 2020 07:33 PM PDT Hello everyone. New here, But figured I'd ask for some assistance. I'm not TERRIBLY experienced with deck building, as in I've played for a while but i'm no where near tournament skill levels. I've built a deck i've named "Fortress Defense" which I really enjoy the idea of. The basic concept is probably a pretty common one, stalling. Using as much damage reduction as possible to get some big hitters out. Though i've run into the issue of productive energy use. I have a hard time getting energy onto my Poke's without it taking 4-5 turns. If my front runner gets taken out it's incredibly difficult to recover. If you have the time I'd love some advice, gonna put a picture and a list of my current setup. Fortress Defense card list image (imgur) Pokemon - Mawile x3 (Sword & Shield/Common) -A bit of energy stalling. Honedge x3 (TeamUp/Common) - More energy stalling. Doublade x3 (TeamUp/Uncommon) -Running tools a lot. Aegislash x1 (TeamUp/Rare/Mythic) - 40 innate Damage Reduction. Aegislash x2 (Rebel Clash/Rare/Mythic) - 30 Damage Reduction for the team. Lucario & Melmetal GX Teamup x2 (Promo) - 30 Damage Reduction for the team. Meltan x3 (Multiply Promo) - Have 2 atm, looking for a 3rd. Melmetal GX x3 (Promo) - Innate DR, Heavy Hitter IF I can get the energy. Items - Pokegear 3.0 x3 Switch x2 Mt Cornet x2 (Stadium) - Energy Recovery Jasmine x3 - Poke Fishing Poke Center Lady x2 Red & Blue x2 - My attempt at forcing energy onto Melmetal GX Metal Frying Pan x3 Metal Goggles x3 Energy - Shield Energy x4 - More DR Metal Energy x16 [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Jul 2020 01:31 PM PDT Do any of you get booted from tournaments a lot or is it just my fiber internet unable to keep up? I've been kicked off the server in the middle of tournaments 3 times in the last 2 days. So frustrating. I'm just hemorrhaging tickets for freakin' nothing. grrr. [link] [comments] |
Requesting for someone to test this list Posted: 18 Jul 2020 03:15 PM PDT Recently made a list I think looks pretty good as a fun rogue deck, but I don't have the packs for it. Need to see if it is worth building, so I need someone to test it. The idea is to get 250 turn 2 with Toxtricity VMAX by using Magneton to get 3 supporters, then use surge, greens for evo incense and counter gain or thunder mountain, and then kogas trap to poison+confuse. Similar to the strategy of the deck shown here Here's the list: ****** Pokémon Trading Card Game Deck List ****** ##Pokémon - 13 * 1 Tapu Koko {*} TEU 51 * 1 Toxtricity V PR-SW 17 * 2 Toxtricity V RCL 182 * 3 Magneton CEC 69 * 3 Toxtricity VMAX RCL 71 * 3 Magnemite UPR 81 ##Trainer Cards - 39 * 1 Great Catcher CEC 192 * 1 Thunder Mountain {*} LOT 191 * 4 Green's Exploration UNB 209 * 2 Cynthia & Caitlin CEC 189 * 1 Marnie SSH 169 * 4 Evolution Incense SSH 163 * 3 Energy Spinner UNB 170 * 2 Lt.
