| Anyone tried salamence v alolan sand slash ? Posted: 03 Feb 2021 02:11 AM PST I like janky decks and want to try this out but sandslash is pricy. Before I buy packs for him anyone tried this deck yet? I'm salivating at the idea of salamence with scopic hitting all v and gx for 60 and 30 for the rest on eternateus bench. Then sandslash gx with scopic for 130 for v and gx and 100 doing a big bench wipe. Anyone got some ideas to go about it? [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 02 Feb 2021 09:08 PM PST I have been playing ptcgo for 2 weeks and I've only managed to get so few cards. My main mission right now is to get at least a Tier 1.5 deck at my disposal. But it seems that is incredibly hard to do at the rate I'm going right now.I've only managed to build an expanded Royal Blaze Charizard deck from buying two theme decks after investing at the very least 40 hours now, and I've only managed to do build that because there were draw and search supporters given for expanded format (N, Prof Sycamore, Ultraball, Level Ball). Without it I wouldn't have been playing at this level.I have managed to win a lot of games in expanded, even winning one event after a couple of deep runs there, don't get me wrong, but most of the times I get hit like a truck by V, GXs, and VMaxs before I can even setup my Charmeleons to Charizards (I don't even have a single Rare Candy now even after opening around 30 packs - 10 of which was Sword and Shield Packs)But how can I get more meta cards if I'm just free to playing? Is free to playing PTCGO to compete at a really high level even a thing? even if I put in around 5 hours a day to just playing?PS. I've only messed around trading once, and that hasn't gotten me anything. If anyone has tips for that, I'll greatly aprreciate it. [link] [comments] |

| How do you feel about mad party. Posted: 02 Feb 2021 12:11 PM PST I have been playing theme decks casually for a couple months since I didn't want to do the deep dive into deck building. After seeing the term meta decks thrown around here decided to Google and I picked a deck that just looked goofy in that it wasn't GX/VMax etc as primary cards, Mad Party. Coming from theme, most of the play styles with heavy item, trainers and abilities just didn't come up in the decks I had. So I set out to build my first Standard deck and luckily most cards were minimal pack costs. After putting something together I have played my first 30 matches so far with it and had a lot of fun with it. Winning probably like 70% of games played including against other meta decks like eternatus, lucario, centiskorch. Of course I had to get used to the basics of certain cards like Dedenne GX/giovanni's exile, not realizing triple acc energy discarded after turn and actually trying to get rid of all my cards. I have noticed my play timer is usually a few minutes lower than my opponents since I am playing so many items/discards. So this leads me to my question how do you experienced players feel about playing against Mad Party? For me I'm moving cards and setting up, but for my opponent, I feel kind of bad since it can be like 2 minutes of discards and draws. Also are most meta decks not too hard to learn, I have been slightly intimidated by the others. [link] [comments] |
