    Newbie rotation question

Hey guyz, in witch date sets:

will be no longer legal in standard format?

Sandaconda is one of the funnest meme decks in standard

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 11:06 PM PDT

    Is good? No

    Is it consistent? No

But it's some of the most fun I've had in standard in a while. It's like that chandler stage 2 Pokémon style of play but a lot more consistent and stronger

When you one shot a vmax with one energy it simply is the best feeling in the game no comparison.

I know it's weakness in this match but god hitting etern for 600 had my dying of laughter. I've also one spotted a inteleon vmax earlier as well. If your looking for a break and trying something stupid I recommend this. https://ibb.co/YWTMq1M

Deck question as a new f2p.

    Posted: 26 Apr 2021 05:01 AM PDT

What would be the quickest deacent or atleast okay deck I can make as a F2P? (I'm asuming it involves buying a theme deck and then sliwly modifying it.)

Deck Names—Does anyone else have fun naming their Decks?

who should i foucs more on countring?dragapult or rs ursifu?

    Posted: 26 Apr 2021 07:59 AM PDT

my st urshifu deck runs houdoom/jirachi gx/tyranitar v as the tech and engine (ofc ursifu himself with crobat/dedene).
im not sure if i should leave this build like this or try to find a place for mew bench barrier for rs ursifu and zigzagons that close the gaps of the attackers numbers.
the tyranitar is for dragapult matchups and as the 2nd attacker to make the game a 8 cards games (i can do the last part with urshifu v as well) so i was wondering if you think i should replace him to better aim for a favor-able matchup against snipe decks

Some Legacy questions, please help. I'm thinking about playing Legacy for the first time

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 06:44 PM PDT

I have played PTCGO for a few years, have several playable standard and expanded decks, a good amount of staples, and maybe 100-200 packs saved up for trades. I'm thinking of getting into Legacy since it'd be fun to learn a new format and build new decks completely from scratch, but I have a few questions for any Legacy players out there.

Is the fomat fun to play? Are there many options for different decks in the meta, especially any semi-budget ones?

Would I get dominated by experienced Legacy players since I won't have good decks to start? Is buying a few cards on public trades and spending about 10 thousand coins on packs or theme decks a viable starting option for Legacy?

Any good decklists would be appreciated, especially for someone with next no no Legacy cards right now! Thanks for you r help!

Do you enjoy the random standard boosters as rewards for events?

    Posted: 26 Apr 2021 12:54 AM PDT

I personally don't like them. Only getting x2 random boostes comming 3rd-4th & x3 random first hurts a bit, especially in standard events trying to win BS booster packs.

Are expanded boosters worth anything for trading? or should i just open them

Will Gardevoir be a top deck in Chilling Reign?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 12:08 PM PDT

This Gardevoir has the same setup as Greninja Break. CHR Kirlia's Mirage Step attack, for [P] cost, searches the deck for 3 Kirlia and puts them on the Bench. This allows for super-easy setup of Gardevoir.

Gardevoir's Arcana Shine ability is like Zacian V's ability, only with 2 cards and the lack of ending your turn. With 3 or 4 Gardevoir on the field, that has the potential for a lot of energy acceleration. Additionally, Gallade's Dynablade attack only costs [C][C], so it will fit right in as well.

Brand new to PTCGO: Is there any way to get matched with other noobs?

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 11:45 PM PDT

I'm trying to learn the ropes of this game and it's absolutely disheartening that every time I load up challenge it matches me with someone way above my experience level. I was having fun in the beginning, but after getting raped by Leon Charizard decks dishing out 300+ HP every other game with the same guys spamming crying emoji's while doing it I'm feeling like giving up. Is all of PTCGO this toxic or am I starting off the wrong way? I would like to get better at this game and verse people that are just starting out like me so I can learn while I play. Please advise.

    Questions for first standard deck

    Posted: 25 Apr 2021 09:15 AM PDT

I am tired of playing the theme deck format after 2 weeks playing it. It became boring, i think i have seen everything - I even lost against a Swampert (The Rotom is crazy strong.). Now i wanted to try standard. I have not bought anything yet. Therefore i dont really have anything. But i would be ready to buy packs and trade for the stuff if the price is reasonable.
What decks would you recommend to start with? How much would it cost from scratch? Obviously i want a competitive standard deck as i am ready to invest some cash if its reasonable. the Should i also buy something like this also Pokémon Trainers Toolkit? Or is it overpriced. I already have 2 Dedennes GX from the ladder. I liked the playstyle from the soaring storm and Unseen Depths while i disliked Relentless Flame and Rillaboom.

    Thanks for answers.
